COMMISSIONING AND ELECTRICAL TESTING ON MEDIUM VOLTAGE INVERTERS (VFD)
DAPRO has been operating for several years in the commissioning of VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) for medium voltage electric motor drives.
Commissioning and electrical testing of VFDs are essential procedures to ensure that the frequency converter is operating correctly before being put into service.
The main activities we carry out are described below:
- Supervision of installation and wiring of power and signal cables
- Check power supplies, earthing and insulation
- Power supply and first parameterization of the control
- Check signal interface with DCS and/or external signals
- Blank tests and verification of protection intervention
- Empty tests
- Load tests and fine tuning
